Agile development processes are in widespread use nowadays: Many software companies expect them to provide a greater degree of flexibility, more interaction with their customers, and a more dynamic response to changed requirements. Yet, there are often still difficulties or problems when agile development processes are used, which has a direct impact on the customer relations, sales opportunities, and market position of the involved businesses.
In the research project PQ4Agile, systematic support for the users of agile methods is therefore being developed to allow broader and successful usage of these methods and to contribute to the quality of the developed products being predictably high. The main target group of the collaborative research project PQ4Agile consists of small and medium-sized enterprises from the software industry. The research results from PQ4Agile are available to both software companies and scientists outside the consortium.
